Remote Ketchikan Private Boat Tour

4 hours

Easy

Explore hidden coves, wildlife, and off-grid spots by boat.

Step aboard a comfortable, climate-controlled vessel and set off on an intimate, four-hour journey through some of the most remote and rarely seen areas around Ketchikan. This private tour—limited to just six guests—offers a flexible itinerary shaped by weather, tides, and the guide’s deep local knowledge.

Your captain Jason will share the stories behind place names and the rich cultural and natural history of the region. Possible highlights include wildlife, a natural fish ladder, and off-grid cabins tucked deep in the wilderness. You might spot whales, sea lions sunning on the rocks, eagles overhead, or locals enjoying the solitude of their favorite hidden coves. Sometimes we even see bears!

On calm days, you’ll venture into open waters—an extension of the Inside Passage—with a chance for beach combing, if conditions and ability allow.

Every tour is unique and shaped at the discretion of the operator to ensure an unforgettable experience.

Once you've booked your tour, we will contact you to talk about your tour options and arrange your pickup location.

        • Rain poncho or rain gear (we provide extras if needed)
        • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers are best)
        • Camera
        • Binoculars (we have a few on board, but bring your own if you prefer)
        • Motion sickness medication (if you're prone to seasickness)

Please note: this is a 34-foot boat. If you’re concerned about motion sensitivity, we strongly encourage taking preventive measures before boarding.
